A little bumpy and a little fun on the road from Chicken to Tok. Permafrost seems to come out of the road when they lay blacktop so we feel like we are on a wave in the ocean. (Chicken because thay could not spell ptarmigan and Tok pronounced Toke) Hmm.... (no idea what they were smoking when they established this little stop. 30 residents in the summer and maybe 1 or 2 in the winter! The highway is blocked by mid sept.
