Arriving at the coast again at Valdez. The rainiest, wettist place yet.

We had no idea that we had hit a fishing town with more RV's with fish freezers and smokers than you could shake a stick at. The rivers had just had the Pink salmon spawn and the Coho's were on their way up from the ocean. The massive school in this picture were the fish hatchery yearlings that were stopped by a wier at the hydro plant because there were too many for the rivers to handle. We could not understand this and none of the locals were forthcoming.

Tomorrow Ross and Lou are off on a charter at 6am. If you visit Rome, do as the Romans do!
