Following the Boyes 'to the ends of the earth'we arrive in Dawson City hoping to find gold and unfortunately, Discovery Days was winding down and although Monday was a holiday here they wound down early Sunday as we arrived. Wonderful history here. We truly could imagine what the Stampeders were all about. Janice and Jim popped the kayaks into the frigid waters of the Yukon. The had hoped to do the Klondike as well but the waters was too swift. Lots of rain, lots of late night partiers at our campsite in the gravel yard but lots of fun.
