Hello Canada afrer 13 days in Alaska

We have entered the Yukon. The bumps in the HWY would make anyone seasick if they were so inclined but the scenery was fabulous.
Can't see the highest peak in Canada (Mt. Logan...our nephew) but we knew it was just beyond the hills to our right on the west side as we travelled east from Tok to Whitehorse.

Stopped at Kluane Park on the most amazing Lake
Picked up rocks for lilly. Watched the Mountain goats an the other side for ages.
Pcked rose hips and checked out all of the soap berry and other berries that were abundant.

This is for our knitting class. We went to the Kiviut (Muskox wool) Co-Op and although they were spinning skiens they only supply the native women knitters with it and sell the scarves, hats etc that they produce. I bought a headband and Janice and I are bringing a surprise home for Michelle.

Jim met Sarah in Anchorage today and truly enjoyed a very non-descript discussion on the economy today.

 we truly were sober!
Mom's were so docile and the piglets were satisfied
This little hide costume was unbelievable>. The flowers were made of Quil!
Ashley, we made mom and dad pose in front of the trailer.
They sure love you and can't wait to squeeze the baby toes.

Anchorage...State Fair at Palmer and more

This is a long stay for us. We booked 3 days. Our days are full with events and highlights. We are so into the local native stuff and will only buy local. Love it.
Homer Alaska, Janice and Lou found the most amazing shops
It was raining as usual and we spent hours there but the farmers market did not start 'til 3pm so hmhm.. we were delayed.
R and L had amazing fresh oysers for dinner.

After dinner we admired the sunset at the beach with seals and birds and ......(great rocks to bring home)
Here we are on the beach at Homer with full services.
Off to a cannery where the seals are as lazy as piggys.
The train runs right beside the road at the ocean. This is the entrance to Anchorage. Bracebridge needs to remember to keep the entrance atractive!
